I was really baffled today when someone told me that she thinks I’m a strong, inspiring woman. 🙂 Admittedly I don’t really see myself like that.

If I think back on my grandmother, who raised 5 kids just by herself, I feel super proud to be her granddaughter. And those 5 kids were all girls 🙂 …. wow! Or my mom, who raised 3 kids and then my dad turned seriously ill… so she ended up caring for 4 kids. Both my mother and grandmother never gave up and they simply done their best for the children.I can feel their willpower inside me, too. It’s the power of a mother, and it’s so much stronger when you’re a single mom like me. The power of a lioness protecting her cubs. I already have the lion wild hairs (especially in the morning), now all I need is the voice roarrrrr…. :-))))

You know, all people have their own cross to bear, like Jesus had. But I learned that it’s okay to ask for help when you can no longer bear it yourself. My mother and grandmother never did, asking for help. It’s OK to receive help and it’s not a sign of weakness like I always thought. It’s a sign that you’ve been too strong for too long and now you’re tired. 🙂 When I get asked for help, I never say no… it’s the most normal thing in the world for me to help people. But the other way around, is something I had to learn and it didn’t come easy. But, I just keep practicing 😉

I recently said there are different kinds of ME, I’m proud that all of ME have the same heart and soul.
