About Me

Dear reader,

I would like to introduce myself 🙂

My name is Ludmila Sjoerdsma and I’m working for Lugera & Makler Detachering as a Staffing Manager Netherlands.

I was born and raised in Slovakia, but I live in the Netherlands now for almost 22 years. So here I have become an adult woman. With all the ups and downs that belong to life 🙂

Some people say that you are too old for certain things. I’m not agree, and if I have to believe the internet, it is that 40 is the new 20. So I’m only 23.

I found my life’s true passion at Lugera in 2008. Ever since, it has become an important part of my life. I’m one of the lucky few who managed to turn my passion into my work and vice versa. I feel good about what I do, I love it!

My heart consists of all rooms where my two beautiful daughters, my family and my work are located.

As a single mother, I am participating in The New Way of Working. I do all my work from a home office. If there is one thing that matters to stay-at-home managers, it is trying to maintain a balance between work and private life. That is why The New Way of Working is so ideal for managing mothers who want to combine work with their private life in their own personal way.

To me, the song of Dolly Parton “Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living” does not apply. My working hours are very flexible. And I love it!

Everything around you responds to love. It makes a big difference whether you do your work out of love or simply because you have no choice. That difference does not just affect your performance, but also your colleagues, customers and candidates. By working with love, you can change your work climate and more importantly, what you produce will have that positive energy.

At Lugera, we love to make love with our candidates (and also with our clients and colleagues and suppliers:-)

Don’t be afraid of the wrong choices you have made in the past, because you will always find that all these experiences turn out to be very useful in your career and private life. Your past has prepared you for your wonderful future.
