If I could change the way I live my life today
I wouldn’t change a single thing
‘Cause if I changed my world into another place
I wouldn’t see your smiling face…Change by Lisa Stansfield

Someone asked me if I’m happy and at peace with how my life is now.
When I was around 14 or 15 years old, I always thought I’d marry early and have kids 🙂 And by early I meant around 19 or 20…
And you know, when I reached that age, marriage wasn’t on my mind at all and I wouldn’t have been ready for it. Some of my friends in my age are grandmothers by now 🙂 Wooooow…
And I never thought for a moment that I’d start a life abroad. If someone had told me that, I’d have laughed in their face 🙂 Getting a driving license, driving… never thought that would happen either. Trencin, my place of birth, has excellent public transport, so I wouldn’t have needed it. And now I can’t even imagine life without a car. It’s so funny how the life is going…
My daughter, on the other hand, knows no better than to get her driver’s license when she is 18.

Backtracking to the original question, YES I am happy with how my life is now. I could dwell in the past, but I can do nothing to change it… and I’m sure I wouldn’t even want to change it. Life is a gift. Take it and cherish your life!

PS You know, every day is magical. Something always happens that you haven’t experienced yet 🙂
