Having a meeting with colleagues. While they are ‘listening’ they are watching their phones. Reading and answering. They don’t hear what the others are telling. I stopped my words and waited when they paid attention again. I did that several times. The meeting took twice the time needed and probably only half of what has been discussed was understood.
