Dear reader,
My name is Ruby Braak and I work at Lugera – The People Republic as a Business Analyst.
In November 2017, I started my Lugera Journey. The coming year, I will work at four of the Lugera branches, located in Romania, Slovakia, Russia and Czech Republic. According to the plan, I will stay for a period of three months in each of these countries.
Within Lugera, I will work on a couple of projects which intent to innovate and improve recruitment and payroll processes. Currently, I am, among other things, working on the development of the Dynamic Investment Algorithm. This algorithm will give recruitment managers an objective tool to measure the unnecessary loss of unfulfilled vacancies and to establish an educated decision of how much must be invested in additional talent acquisition. The algorithm shows that turnover and profit can grow significantly when additional action is taken. Furtermore, I am working on the development of new recruitment tools that help to determine the optimal KPI’s and placement fees.
I am a Dutch woman, born in 1994 in Beverwijk. In the last four years I studied at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), at which I obtained my Bachelor’s degree Economics and Business and Master’s degree Economics (specialization track: Behavioral Economics and Game Theory).
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends and to travel the world!
This job gives me the perfect opportunity to bring my theoretical skills into practice and to develop myself, both, on a professional and personal level, while experiencing life in different East European countries.
